Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU) - Sister

Our client is a leading private hospital in London and they are looking to recruit an experienced PICU Sister. If you are interested in applying for a PICU nursing job, read on. They are looking for an experienced PICU nurse to assist the senior sister / charge nurse PICU in the effective operational management, organisation and delivery of high quality nursing care and clinical leadership of the nursing team within the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Job Details The postholder will be required to assist in the continued development of the PICU, including the advancement of intensive care services in support of the Paediatric Centre's overall philosophy and the commissioning of new services-including cardiac surgery and renal specialities. The successful candidate will assist in the education and training in the commissioning of new services to the PICU ensuring nursing staff are clinically competent in the nursing care required for these new services. Qualifications To apply you must be a 1st Level Nurse (RSCN or RN Child), have ENB 415,160 or 405, ENB 998 or equivalent No ONP or Adaptations nurses need apply. Skills/Experience To work as a PICU Nursing Sister you must have: Considerable experience in PICU nursing at F grade Experience of implementing research and audits of care Experience of teaching and assessing students at diploma / degree level An understanding of risk management Benefits A competitive salary, generous holiday package, life assurance, discounted gym membership, interest free loan for season ticket, private medical cover and pension
