Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU) - Staff Nurse

Our client is a leading private hospital in London and they are looking to recruit a Staff Nurse to work in their 4 bedded Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). A vacancy has arisen for an RN, preferably RN (Child) / RSCN with a minimum of 1-2 yrs post registration experience (at least 1 year being in a level 3 PICU). Job Details The post holder works as part of the multi disciplinary team and delivers a high standard of family centred care. The post-holder assists senior nursing staff to ensure that a high quality service is maintained. Qualifications Ideally you will be a 1st Level Nurse (RSCN or RN Child), or a RGN with PICU experience No ONP or Adaptations nurses need apply Have ENB 415,160 or 405, ENB 998 or equivalent Skills/Experience To work as a PICU Staff Nurse you must have: Minimum of 1-2 yrs post registration experience (at least 1 year being in a level 3 PICU) Experience of working in PICU Nursing Evidence of recent professional development A desire to undertake the paediatric critical care pathway is essential Understanding of clinical governance Ability to negotiate and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Effective communication skills Benefits A competitive salary, generous holiday package, life assurance, discounted gym membership, interest free loan for season ticket, private medical cover and pension
