Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Staff Nurse

Our client is a leading private hospital in London. A vacancy has arisen for a staff nurse in their adult critical care unit. The post holder will work as part of the multi disciplinary team and delivering a high standard of patient centred care. If you are interested in applying for an ICU / ITU nursing job, read on. Job Details The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs and for the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. Qualifications You will be a level RN 1 with 2 years extensive post registration experience within critical care nursing at Level 3 and Mentorship course or ENB 998. No ONP or Adaptations nurses need apply It would be desirable if you held: Post-Basic critical Care Course ENB 100 or equivalent qualification Evidence of post-basic education Diploma or Degree Skills/Experience To work as a ICU / ITU Staff Nurse you must have: Clinical knowledge and experience of critical care Experience of implementing research and audits of care Understanding of risk management ILS (current) Ability to negotiate and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Excellent organisational skills Effective communication skills Information and technology skills Management skills Understanding of professional issues relating to patient advocacy Benefits A competitive salary, generous holiday package, life assurance, discounted gym membership, interest free loan for season ticket, private medical cover and pension
