Title : Opportunities for Nurses working in Neurology

The role: We currently have a vacancy within our Nursing team for a registered nurse to assist with the management and development of services for people with multiple sclerosis. The role involves managing a caseload of patients within primary and secondary care, maintaining a high standard of care and assisting with the provision of disease modifying treatments. You will be working with Consultant Neurologists, MS Society Programme Manager, MS Clinical Nurse Specialist, all members of the nursing teams, medical staff, therapists and other professional across primary and secondary care, health and social care workers and voluntary organisations

Qualifications
• Registered Nurse with a current NMC
• Experience of working in secondary care
• Neurology experience desirable but a background of working alongside patients with long term / critical illnesses essential.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with patients through the care pathway
