Lead Nurse - Walk in Centre

This organisation is a leading independent provider of health and social care service solutions. Services include residential care, homecare, acute care, primary care and others. You will work as part of a team of Nurse Practitioners within the Medical Centre. Establish inter-agency working where necesssary, to ensure good communication increases quality of care for patients. Ensure that you own clincial practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role. Job Details Amongst other duties: Take on the full management role in dealing with all clinical issues as they arise Establish clinical governance arrangements with other clinicians Work closely with all staff members, co-ordinate activities, foster a culture that encourages the team to be innovative, forward thinking and dynamic, generating new ideas and initiatives Paricipate in the recruitment of new staff Ensure there is off duty cover Report complaints, accidents and adverse untoward incidents in accordanc e with requirements. Act as a role model and ambassador for the centre at all times. Qualifications First level UK registered Nurse Five years post registration experience Teaching and AssessingCourse Evidence of CPD Skills/Experience Amongst others you will:- Be willing to undertake further training Have extensive clinical experience in A&E or Primary Care Have Case Management experience Be able to maintain and monitor high standards of care You will be self motivated and committed Communication skills and ability to transmit information at all levels, be able to work in partnership with other professionals Have teaching skills and be able to impart knowledge etc. Evidence of ability to direct and co-ordinate programmes of care working autonomously and collaboratively Benefits Competitive
