Staff Nurse

This Healthcare Group has four care homes, providing general, nursing and residential care, together with respite, holiday and post operative care. The Homes are predominantly elegant Georgian mansions and are set within the cities of Plymouth and Exeter, and seaside locations in Seaton and Dawlish.

Job Details
This role is almost lead nurse level. One nurse has resigned and the company are looking for a suitable replacement.
You will be working with a diverse group of nurses and will have to interact appropriately, sharing knowledge and developing professionally
High standards of nursing care are expected and you will need to be a team player as well as being able to act autonomously.
Rotation between day and night duty is a possibility.
You must have a passion for caring for the elderly

Qualifications
Current registration with the NMC as a RN level 1
2 years experience in a care home situation will be an advantage
Be knowledgeable of the CSCI National Minimum Standards

Skills/Experience
Confident and knowedgeable
Assertive
Previous experience in a lead role where you have led teams of carers
Excellent communication skills
Well presented to both patients and their families
