Staff Nurse - Nursing Home

This home is under new Management and looking for those special people who love nursing the elderly and want to improve standards, as well as make living here a special experience for them. They provide Nursing Care for 30 residents, Day Care 7 days a week, and accept Service Users for long term, short term for convalescence and holiday stays.

The Home is situated in Oswestry, Shropshire within easy access of the A5 and a few minutes away from the town centre.

Our fully trained staff are always eager to give personal care and attention to all residents under the supervision of the Matron

Job Details
As a Registered Nurse you will be a hands on practitioner and oversee junior staff and health care assistants.
Medication rounds as well as being available to assist when a doctor attends his patient.
You will be working with a diverse group of nurses and will have to interact appropriately, sharing knowledge and developing professionally
High standards of nursing care are expected and you will need to be a team player as well as being able to act autonomously.
Rotation between day and night duty is a possibility.
You must have a passion for caring for the elderly

Qualifications
RN with current registration with the NMC
1 (one) year post graduate

Skills/Experience
Previous experience in looking after the elderly
Caring and compassionate nurse
Honest and with integrity
Loyal, flexible and a teamplayer
You will be confident and knowledgeable
Have great interpersonal and communication skills

Request from Work Permit holders will not be considered at this stage.
