ODP/Anaesthetic RGN

This hospital is a 141 bedded acute hospital with 5 operating theatres and other support services. The theatre department has recently been expanded and refurbished, it compirses 5 operating theatres and a 10 bay recovery unit. It provides services in orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, vascular and colorectal, ENT and ophthalmic surgery Job Details Amongst other duties and responsibilities you will: Assess, implement and evaluate nursing care delivery, providing a high standard of clinical and customer care to all patients Take part in "on-call" system Be part of the resusciatin team Assist in setting and maintenance of clinical standards and implementation of clincal audits Assist senior staff managing the theatre suite Identify areas for personal and professional development Actively promote the department within the hospital Participate in mandatory training Qualifications City & Guilds 752 NVQ ODP level 3 RGN ENB 183 Current membership of either the NMC or the HPC Skills/Experience I year recent experience in an acute hospital theatre suite You will be motivate and enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable, a good team player Have good stress management skills Very customer / patient focussed Set high standards and takes pride in your work Benefits Medical insurance Professional Training and development opportunities Life assurance
