Recovery Nurse/Team Leader

The role requires a highly motivated individual with a desire to succeed and become the key lead member of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team. The hospital has over 50 beds, is a modern facility and part of a well established chain. Patients will be recovering from a wide range of surgical procedures including arthroscopies, hip/knee replacements, colonoscopies, EVLT and gastroscopies. Cosmetic surgery includes breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction and facelifts. Job Details To assume responsibility for the team and deliver outstanding patient care. To provide care based on sound knowledge and be aware of current research in the field To demonstrate consistently high standards of management and nursing care To promote a patient centred style of clinical practice Knowledge of NMC professional codes and an awareness of hospital policies Qualifications Registered with the NMC/HPC, 3 years experience at a senior level, proof of professional development, a recognised (UK) recovery/anaesthetic qualification, ENB 998 or similar Skills/Experience Good interpersonal and organisational skills, proactive, ability to effectively communicate within a multi-disciplinary team.
